Twitter Paging John Laurinaitis, please!

11/14/2011 14:42

At this point, the WWE Universe knows how important social media is to Zack Ryder. From his hit YouTube show "Z! True Long Island Story," to being listed as one of the "Top Tweeters" by Sports Illustrated, The Long Island Iced-Z has propelled himself through hard work into WWE Superstardom. Using social media again to his advantage, Ryder recently sent out a Twitter S.O.S., asking the WWE Universe to sign a "Twitition" for a United States Championship Match against Dolph Ziggler.

As of this writing, hwoever, Ryder still hasn't received his United States Championship rematch. So, Interim Raw General Manager and Vice President of Talent Relations John Laurinaitis (say that 10 times fast!), we have to ask: what's up with that?

Ryder's Twitter petition will have 15,000 signatures on it by the time Raw gets ROCKED Monday night. It has been tweeted and retweeted by the WWE Unvierse thousands of times. Our fans buy the sweatbands. They wear the shirts. They bring the signs to shows, clamoring to be "Broski of the Week." The WWE Universe sits in waiting ... 7.7 million times over ... for @ZackRyder to tweet these words: "Episode XX of Z! True Long Island Story is up!"

As for Ryder's Twitter petition ... it's by far the biggest ever for act.ly, with supporting signers on six continents and more than 50 countries!

Did anyone else hear the crowd go wild in Liverpool, England as Ryder teamed up with John Cena in the main event one week ago? Double Five Knuckle Shuffles? You can't see me, bro! We're sure that Laurinaitis had to have heard the cries of the WWE Universe. He's active on Twitter himself (@WWERawGM) and has been repeating - along with his name and title - that he wants to give our fans what they want.

So, Mr. John Laurinaitis, is it time to give the fans what they want? Is it time to give Zack Ryder a chance to be Internet and United States Champion? Woo-Woo-Woo, Mr. L.! You know it!
