Knockout & Local Orlando, FL Publicist Fired From TNA Wrestling:

TNA Knockout Cookie (Becky Bayless) is no longer with TNA Wrestling. The company decided not to renew her contract. Most recently, she was pushing on Twitter to be used as a wrestler instead of a valet figure for Robbie E. On Twitter, she changed her handle to @Becky_Bayless and tweeted: “Good morning booskis! New day & new twitter name…A big thank you to my TNA fam & fans, but it’s time to move on…excited for what’s next!”

TNA has also released Aleta Ennis, who worked with the company to market and bring publicity to TNA in the Orlando, FL area.

Backstage Notes From TNA Impact Wrestling Taping From Huntsville:

Everyone with the exception of Crimson, Madison Rayne, and Ric Flair were at the tapings last night. Despite estimated poor attendance figures before the show (one estimate said that about 800 tickets were sold), estimates for the actual taping ranged from 3,000-3,500. The arena held up to at least 10,000. No word yet how many tickets were actually sold and how many were given for free/discounted prices in order to fill the arena, however.

Jeff Hardy was said to be in “good spirits” backstage at the taping last night from Huntsville, Alabama. PWInsider.com notes that he didn’t really bring up the release of his brother Matt and didn’t really bring him up period on the show. As noted previously, he will be appearing on the Sept. 8 broadcast of the show.
